Early tomorrow morning, me and the silentwife will be boarding a plane to [tag]Namibia[/tag] to visit Joris and schoolnet. As many of my longterm readers know, I have quite a history with [tag]schoolnet[/tag], as they are the organisation that has rolled out the largest delivery of [tag]Linux[/tag] based computers to poor schools in African history, and they did so using [tag]openlab[/tag], a project I used to head the development off.
As I mentioned, the wife will be joining me and we’ll be staying at NARREC (something I think she will enjoy). I will be spending the time meeting with Joris, Aune, Uwe and perhaps a few other people to discuss some very interesting possibilities for the future. I will report more on the actual meetings after they actually take place however, rather than to speculate on their exact content/outcome just yet.
In the meantime, this means I will be out of cellphone contact from Tomorrow until Saturday so if you need to reach me, please send e-mail.
