Went to bed last night

shivering with the fever of a bad flu. I was perfectly fine when I left Cape Town, start coughing a little while on the plane, was feeling quite sick by the afternoon, and really sick by the evening.
I had a big multi-hour meeting this morning which I handled as best I could with my fevered head, went pretty well though – I know this stuff .
Now I am back at SNNA headquarters feeling like I got hit by a truck, and hoping to feel better before 2pm when the schoolnet staff returns. The downside of the timeshift is that everything feels 1 hour later for me than it is -so I get an extra hour’s worth more tired with each action.
Still, I think the visit will be fruitful, the flu despite.
