The world gets smaller, but in a way as it does so – it gets bigger. It’s getting easier and easier for people to live very far from where they were born, but this means we tend to live far from our families now.
Luckily, technology can counteract this a bit. So I’ve launched a blog for my family where we can all share our current little news bits with one another. The blog is in Afrikaans but I still wanted to mention it here just in case some family member hasn’t been part of the ongoing e-mail discussion that we planned it with.
